If you’re not a big cold-weather fan, and you’re living where it’s cold right now, Pasadena sounds like a good place to kick up your feet and stay awhile. In the land of sunshine, shades, and shimmering luxury cars, the Nebraska football team spent Christmas on the road once again. It’s a Husker football tradition. It’s a given. The Huskers are always in a bowl game, so future recruits had better get used to the fact that they won’t be waiting for Santa to come down a chimney, more like a hotel room laundry chute.
But with cold weather settling into the midwest, a very snowy west, and an east coast that is getting colder by the day, Pasadena sounds so nice right now. Being able to get away and see some green foliage besides Christmas trees would be nice. The chance to hit the beach would be even better. So even though the Huskers may be missing the comforts of home on Christmas day, reality is also setting in. In Hollywood, the Huskers are about to take center stage.
