November 20, 2001 PICKED LAST. MUST FIND LEGS FAST. Predicted to finish in the cellar of the Big 12, NU men’s basketball team kicks off challenging season. The Nebraska Men's basketball team is in a tough position right now. Not only are they being overshadowed by the BCS #1 Husker football team, but they've also been picked to finish last in the Big 12. Them's fighting words for most teams, and somehow I don't think that will be the case. Still the Huskers are young, and will have to learn to play error-free basketball to win very many games this season. It's a little more difficult to follow the Husker basketball team when you live outside Nebraska, unless they play Kansas or something. There are packages available from ESPN, where you can watch certain conference games for a price.
