NU's TO LOSE
Huskers down Mizzou 34-20, North title in sight

Once again it was a blazing start, then a hang-on kind of second
half for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Only this time the Huskers hung on with a 34-20 win over Missouri
Saturday in Lincoln.
Even though Nebraska did much more than "hang on", and were never
really in jeopardy of losing the game, that may not have been the
case if another quarter was added to the game.
After an early 27-3 lead, Missouri made a move only to fall short in
the end. The loss also puts the Tigers on the short end of the stick
when it comes to winning the Big 12 North title.
Nebraska, now 7-3 (4-2 Big 12) can gain a berth in the Big 12
Championship game in Kansas City with a single win in its next two
games vs. Texas A&M and Colorado.
Missouri, 7-3 (3-3) will have to have Nebraska lose both and win
both of their remaining games at Iowa State and at home vs. Kansas.
Next up for Nebraska is Texas A&M on Saturday, November 11 in
College Station, Texas.
Kickoff of the NU-A&M game is slated for about 2:30 p.m. CDT.
Much more on that to come!
