BIG MAN ON CAMPUS.
Husker Mike Stuntz newest Nebraska celebrity after winning touchdown pass.

If you said the name Mike Stuntz on the University of Nebraska campus before last Saturday, someone may have thought you sneezed and said “bless you”. Today, Mike Stuntz is getting all the good tables at Lincoln restaurants. The freshman quarterback turned receiver has achieved something it takes many Husker players four years to achieve. He’s a household name in Nebraska because of something that happened in the game against Oklahoma. It wasn’t just any something either. Stuntz was the one who threw the 63-yard touchdown pass to Nebraska quarterback Eric Crouch on a trick play that is still being played over and over again on sports highlight shows. The play sealed the 20-10 Husker victory over Oklahoma, and put Nebraska in the driver’s seat to play for the national championship. According to AP, Stuntz is having a ball with his new-found celebrity status, but realizes that he still has a long way to go in his young career.
