NO TROUBLE WITH TROY
Husker offense explodes for 597 yards, NU crushes Troy 56-0

I stand corrected.
All the worries and doomsday scenarios did not pan out Saturday, as
Nebraska bounced back nicely from its loss to USC, with a 56-0
trouncing of the Troy Trojans.
After Troy gave Florida State and Georgia Tech great games on the
road, the third tough road game was not the charm for the Trojans.
The Huskers scored 14 points in each quarter to win it going away.
No troubles with Troy whatsoever.
Troy was beaten by the Huskers in all aspects of the game, as
Nebraska showed again what had been seen in games 1 and 2: a
balanced, impressive offensive attack, something that was lacking in
the USC game a week ago.
Of course that was USC. This is Troy.
With the win, Nebraska improves to 3-1. Troy drops to 1-3.
The Husker offense had its way with the Trojans, as NU QB Zac Taylor
went 14 of 17 for 268 yards with 1 TD and 1 interception.
A shut-out rout over a team that despite its record, had respect
around the country, is a great win for the Huskers heading into Big
12 play.
Up first is Kansas this Saturday night in Lincoln. If Nebraska can
play as consistently good against KU, it may be a rock-chalk long
night for the Jayhawks. The Huskers are still reeling from the
blowout loss in Lawrence last year. Nothing would be better than to
"go Troy" all over Kansas.
